Paypal Subscription Delays

Hey Star Sonatians!

We’ve been recently made aware of something going on with Paypal that is making Paypal subscriptions process significantly longer than usual. Previously, you could sub with Paypal and it would be instantaneous, but now we’re getting a significant delay in processing time. At the time of this post we believe it is something to do with Paypal itself, and not actually on our end, but we’re exploring all options to try and get that processing time down. Players are experiencing processing time of anywhere between 10 minutes to 12 hours.

So if you would like to subscribe immediately and get into the game NOW I would suggest using a credit card to subscribe instead. People in the past have had concerns about the security of the credit card processing system, but we’ve changed over to the popular Stripe billing system, and you can find out more about their security over at their website. www.stripe.com

If you subscribe with Paypal and are still not seeing your subscription apply within 12 hours, please submit a support ticket to support.starsonata.com and I will help you as soon as possible!

 

Live client patch issues

For some curious reason, the live client isn’t patching correctly, however you can use the beta instead which you can obtain fromĀ http://www.starsonata.com/dl/StarSonata_2_beta.exe

Universe Reset Hangout

Universe Reset is tonight! Obviously, and we’ve decided to have a bit of a hang out. As in a Google Hangout!

From about noon EST (5PM BST) I’ll be on Google Hangout, with other amounts of unknown developers and of course, you, the players!

We’ll be talking about cool stuff, and I’ll give updates on new uni progress as they come.

Bug Reporting Changes

In an effort to improve our bug tracking and reporting we are moving away from using the support ticket system for bugs that do not involve exploits or losses.

For more information please check out the bug forum post. Tickets that are not exploitable and do not involve losses will be automatically responded to and closed. Thank you for your understanding through this transition.

All Forum Rules, Chat Rules, and Game rules along with the User Agreement have been moved to their own dedicated page for clarity and ease of access. By using the website you agree to the rules, and user agreement outlined on that page.

You can now access the rules & EULA in the game menu of the website or going straight to this page.
