No, there are no available mods on BP's currently. Only item types that you see mods on from the DG's will have mods as artifacts.

so if u buy items off the colony through the trade bay, wont the mods be stripped off like when u try to sell modded items? or is this fixed too as part of it?

If you buy items from the base after it has bought them from the colony, then the mods might be stripped. I'm not sure if we ever fixed that or not. The base buying the items from the colony doesn't strip the mods. If you transfer the items to your ship after the base gets them, you definitely do get the mods.

I'm personally happy with some things being only acquired in certain ways. Maybe the aliens of old didn't use capacitors and scoops. Maybe the scooped things with their minds!

I am glad this is going into the game.

[OffTopic] Why not just remove the need for a scoop. Not sure why it should matter what the object is my ship should be able to pull it into the ship drone or not. Leave them in game for people who like the mods but remove the actual need for them. This is the only place I have ever heard of spaceships having scoops.
