This is to replace the need for alt teams to receive additional BvB slots due to the high cost of base amps early in a universe before production is available. Rather than make amps cheaper, the dev team could instead allow for multiple owned connectors to increase BvB slots rather than limiting teams to the free five BvB slots, which only encourages circumvention of this limit through alt teams. To illustrate: If team A owns two gals bordering one gal owned by team B, team A only receives five BvB slots after 24 hours have passed. With this change, team A would receive ten BvB slots after 24 hours have passed.
