Server/Client Patch – 07/31/2026 – AeonLabs 1.4

SSPatch7-31-2026

[Emperor Contest Rework]

The Emperor Contest has been rebuilt around control of Midas influence galaxies rather than the previous Anatolian influence drop-off system. If you want to learn more about it, click here.

  • Midas influence galaxies are now marked on the universe map and generate Influence while controlled.
  • Teams receive a one-time Imperial Strand reward for being the first to claim an unowned Midas influence galaxy during an active contest.
  • Emperor standings, station bulletins, server status messages, and the web status page have been updated for the new contest structure.
  • Emperor standings can now update for docked players without requiring them to redock.
  • The Anatolian Expanse has been removed.
  • The station in Anatolia is now always visible.
  • Fixed typo in Anatolia coronation messages saying the team was ‘lead’ by instead of ‘led’ by.

[Anatolian Surges]

  • Added Anatolian Surges, timed events that deploy special Anatolian forces throughout Perilous Space and Kalthi Depths.
  • Perilous Space surge enemies can appear throughout Danger Factor 240–380.
  • Kalthi Depths surge enemies appear at Danger Factor 440 and above.
  • Stronger surge enemies award more Imperial Strands and Anatolian Crests.
  • Adjusted Anatolian Crest rewards across all Anatolian forces.
  • Anatolian enemies no longer award obsolete Influence items.
  • Anatolian enemies will not attack until provoked and have received offensive or defensive improvements.
  • Anatolian Crests and Imperial Strands are no longer layerbound, and players can now undock while carrying them.

[Next Universe]

[Subspace Overhaul]

The Aveksaka presence throughout Subspace has been extensively rebuilt.

  • The Aveksaka have reinforced their claim over Subspace:
    • All Subspace gals will now have Aveksaka AI in them, with only a few exceptions such as the Paksapata graveyards. The majority will now try to fight together and all of them will no longer roam (some may still jump away when injured!).
    • A variety of Hatchery Guardian and Stronghold Guardian pillboxes have been deployed, found farther into Subspace regions.
  • The Aveksaka will now spawn in set level ranges varying per region, with farther gals having overall higher level enemies which raises their stats:
    • The Ekam AI have gone from a static level ~250 to ~100-275.
    • The Dve AI have gone from a static level ~500 to ~225-400.
    • The Tra AI have gone from a static level ~750 to ~350-525.
    • The Katur AI have gone from a static level ~1,000 to ~500-1,000.
    • The Pajca AI have gone from a static level ~1,750 to ~1,000-1,750.
    • The Sas AI have gone from a static level ~2,000 to ~1,500-3,000.
  • Set Aveksaka in Subspace to attack players regardless of level difference, from previous up to 4x higher level than them.
  • Roaming Aveksaka will now use the singular ‘Aveksaka’ team instead of a variety of subteams per-region.
  • Roaming Aveksaka respawn times standardized across regions.
  • Global experience boosts can be found in Subspace now, with one per region. They can spawn at any danger factor outside of protected gals.
  • Alien Defense Alliance now protects LACS S1969 in the Dve region of Subspace.
  • Alien Defense Alliance now protects LACS S1986 and LACS S2637 in the Tra region of Subspace. The asteroids in LACS S2637 will no longer spawn Aveksaka ambushers.
  • Renamed the Aveksaka AI in LACS S8472 to ‘Deceased Aveksaka’ to better communicate why it doesn’t fight back. Reduced its experience given from 0.1x to 0x and removed its Alien Husk Fragments drop.
  • Kumari is now owned and protected by the Alien Defense Alliance team.
  • Removed LACS S230 from the Dve region of Subspace. The mission ‘Testing the Hypothesis’ asks the player to scan three Subspace Anomalies in different gals, LACS S230 was one of these and has had its mission goal given to the previous mission location LACS S190 which spawns closer to the hub.
  • Updated the pillboxes used by Subspace Sas invasion outposts. They are now named Outpost Guardians and they use randomization on their spawn positions and their count has been increased from 2 to 5 per outpost (each is its own spawner with its own limited respawns). Their size has also been decreased from 200 to 125 to bring it in-line with the guardian drones from other regions which have been brought back in the form of non-invasion assets to help the Aveksaka in deeper parts of Subspace.
  • Subspace Sas invasion AI now use spawn/despawn effects.
  • Subspace Sas invasion outposts will now respawn their garrison much quicker, from 30 seconds (give or take 3) to 20 seconds (give or take 10). Their pillboxes, now named Outpost Guardians, have had their respawn time reduced from 300 seconds (give or take 30) to 20 seconds (give or take 10). All of these spawners retain their current limited spawn counts preventing infinite respawning, this change better allows them to deploy their reinforcements before the outpost is killed.
  • Fixed LACS S1018 wormhole names being misleading.

[Subspace Missions and Rewards]

  • Allied Front now offers 10 Honorary Diplomas per Gurujana Remains sold from the prior 1.
  • Allied Front now offers 15 Paxian Medallions per Gurujana Remains sold.
  • Subspace dailies have had their Allied Commendation rewards boosted from 1 to 3 per daily completion.
  • Subspace Pajca monthly has had its Allied Commendation reward boosted from 10 to 15 per monthly completion.
  • The Subspace monthly missions have had their kill requirements reduced from 200 Aveksaka to 100. Starting in the Tra region, an additional kill requirement of 5 Hatchery Guardian drones has been added. Pajca exclusively has an extra kill requirement of 3 Stronghold Guardian drones added. The mission summaries have been updated to inform what Danger Factors these drones can be found in.
  • The Ekam region mission ‘Into the Breach’ no longer requires killing three Aveksaka spawning specifically in LACS S1597, instead it can be completed by killing any five roaming Aveksaka.
  • The mission ‘Organic Parasite Research’, a Lyceum daily in Allied Front of Subspace, has had its items updated:
    • The commodities have been converted from decayable commodities to mission items that will decay if the item-holder doesn’t have the required mission.
    • The mission items have been reduced from 1 size to 0, and two have had their weight increased from 5 to 50,000 (the third has 5 million weight).
    • The spitter aliens will now start the fight with their spitter superitems already charged, which is what is used to inject the mission items. Their charge time was also reduced from 30 seconds to 12 to help reduce wasted time when they miss or multiple are required for a squad.
    • The spitter aliens will now fire it when below 95% shields remaining instead of 15% shields remaining. The mission summary has been updated to inform players that they must injure the Aveksaka to get them to inject the mission items.
  • When sufficiently injured, Antu and Vazi Aveksaka now have an initial two-second delay before transforming into their cocoon states with an additional blood explosion effect to show the impending transformation before it happens.
  • Fixed several Subspace mission summaries.

[Drones]

  • Drones with overrides now correctly display their shield bank, shield regeneration, energy bank, and energy regeneration.

[Experience and Construction Standardization]

  • Explicit levels have been assigned to nearly 200 dungeon bosses and more than 90 named lockout bosses.
  • Boss levels now better correspond to their content tier and expected experience range.
  • Named bosses now have quality values based on the highest-quality standard equipment they can drop.
  • Experience multipliers have been updated by quality. Players below the level of a boss with a quality rating will receive substantially more experience. Players significantly above a boss’s level will see a much smaller increase, and because many bosses have also had their levels reduced, players who substantially outlevel a content tier will receive less experience from it.
  • Blueprint construction times have been standardized across more than 600 blueprints using new 10-minute, 4-hour, 12-hour, and 36-hour build-time tiers.
    • Most affected blueprints now build faster, although some high-tech Empyreal and Aurora blueprints have increased build times. Associated module build times have generally been reduced.

  • Added missions for Paracausally Attuned Temporal Trackers and Temporally Attuned Keycards.
