[Highlighted Changes]
[Neuroforge]
- Added the Turboforge feature to Neuroforging.
- Using the Turboforge feature, you can spend Bindomite during the process of Neuroforging to add xtraForge levels to every available Neuroforge roll option before you choose an option.
- There is a maximum amount of additional forges you can add, costing different amounts of Bindomite depending on the quality of the item.
- For example, if you were attempting to Neuroforge an Exotic item which would normally only allow 1 choice, using 10 Bindomite up to a maximum of 4 times will allow you to Neuroforge a total of 5 times with only a single item consumed, greatly increasing the mileage of a single item copy!
- Exalted and Legendary items retain their base 2 Neuroforge attempts.
- Turboforges are only available for 48 hours after a Neuroforge is performed. If you save your Neuroforge roll and want to Turboforge it, make sure to do so before the timer expires.
- Sterwyn Aervin now has a chance to directly drop a Legendary Bindobooster!
- Legendary Bindoboosters can be used on any item that can be neuroforged in place of an item copy.
- Legendary Bindoboosters decay on universe reset.
- Legendary bindoboosters will only be available from the current hardest boss. When a new boss comes out, the Bindobooster drop may move to it if it is more difficult than the previous hardest boss.
[Magcannon Changes]
- All Magcannon weapons have had their stats changed.
- Increased damage, weight, size, visibility and energy cost across the board. Details listed below the patch notes
[Solar Panels]
- Solar panels now benefit from Energy Charge.
[Next Universe Changes]
- Starting next uni C&C will be on permanent tractor disruption when in an unowned galaxy. With a message explaining it when the tractor is attempted.
- Fixed Bule Outposts dropping a Bule Mentallity Blueprint which is an item renamer for Bule Mentality Blueprint.
- prevent base thrusters from working on ownership kits in unowned galaxies (wont apply till next uni)
- Dungeon Shadow Turtles have been updated from level ~420 to 700. Roaming Shadow Turtles are weaker and will remain at their original level. No stat changes were made.
- The Overlord, a more powerful Nephil found in dungeons, has had some changes made to both difficulty versions of its spawners:
- The lower difficulty spawners will receive -50% Shield Max and Damage and -34% Knockback. They will remain limited to a spawncap of 4 per room and have been reduced from level 850 to 750.
- The higher difficulty spawners will receive -34% Shield Max and Damage.
- Micron changes with new universe:
- Micron race track separated into multiple gals to make it easier and clearer to go through.
- Race track no longer allows bots or warp beacons to be deployed.
- Wormholes and keysync spawn positions can no longer be obstructed by gremlin drones. If they spawn too close, they will be destroyed automatically.
- Keysync spawn position is now marked by a targetable nebula and the debris is named as what it is. Respawn time reduced to 1 second.
- Barbe Rouge is now a rift boss, with the rift wormhole starting with the second of three gals in Tortuga.
- Tortuga’s wormhole to Barbe Rouge’s Antechamber has been moved to the east and is now guarded by two Stalker ambushers who must be killed to unlock the wormhole forward.
- Removed two of the six Stalkers from Barbe Rouge’s Antechamber, these were aura-only without weapons and didn’t fit in with the more modern wormhole unlock system of killing AI to unlock.
- The three Cruiser AI in Barbe Rouge’s Hideout will no longer respawn.
- Topaz Eye Jimmy and Barbe Bleu bosses in Blue Outpost have been moved into rifts.
- Updated wormhole sizes throughout the Serengeti to match normal sizes.
- Removed old debris spawners from the Serengeti zone entrance as their Neural Keysyncs are no longer required to progress.
- Lord Mulligan in both Earthforce Space and Perilous Space will now:
- No longer attack other AI, nor any of its spawns will either. They will now especially hate the player that killed the original Zebucart.
- Better disguise themselves as normal Zebucart traders. The biggest change is their ‘Martyr’ Zebucart that spawns them and can now use the Zebucart Mark 2 skin.
- The Zebucart ‘martyr’ that spawns Lord Mulligan has been set to be immune to Radiation Damage to prevent Lord Mulligan from failing to spawn upon the ‘martyr’s’ death.
- Always spawn up to 10 Zebu Scouts instead of a maximum of 1 under certain conditions.
- No longer spam the Advanced Blockade and Swifty-Spry Onslaught superitems throughout the fight, instead only using them during its intended phases.
- Function properly after respawning from its first death.
- Despawn after 25 minutes.
- Respawn significantly faster.
- Roam properly at the same Danger Factor range as the Zebucart ‘martyr’ they spawn from, previously they were only able to jump to a new gal if it was Danger Factor 300.
- Spawn waves of Zebuceptors and Zebucops.
- Space out its spawned minions, as well as spawn from afar when the Zebucart ‘martyr’ is killed.
- Lord Mulligan and its minions will now use spawn/despawn effects.
- Only spawn Zebu Scouts when no enemy players are in the gal.
- Two of the Angry Seraph AI in Penance of Absolution have been converted into Amnesty AI, which are upgraded Absolution AI used as guards for Cardinal Bellarmine.
- The wormhole to Judgement from Penance now requires killing at least three guards to progress, from its original requirement of a Gabriel’s Neurolich commodity as a key.
- The wormhole to Penance from Absolution now spawns two Angry Seraph AI as ambushers to kill to progress, from its original requirement of a Solar Cleansings commodity as a key.
- The Subspace Anomalies in LACS S1018 and LACS S1138 can no longer be clipped through, ships will now travel over them properly.
- Anatolia now additionally stuns any ships that leave the center, at the same range as the Shield Charge debuff and environmental damage effects.
- Fixed Ancient Asteroid Being giving a 24 hour lockout starting upon the time of kill instead of being part of the fixed 24 hour reset timer.
- Asteroid drops throughout Prism Empires have been removed save for anything useful or specially designed for fights.
- Fire Opal missile crates from Orange and Purple Empire in Prism Empires are now more consistent to acquire from wreckages, instead of half the wreckages giving Metals or Silicon instead.
- Renamed the ‘Rift to Juxtaposition’ in Paxius back to its original name ‘Interdimensional Rift’ to match its mission appearance name.
- Cybernetic Gonzales now shouts the name of the target that killed her.
[Content Changes]
[Earthforce Space]
- Fixed Goblin Controller mission item dropping from Doc Goblin in Protoplasmica, which would get immediately deleted as it isn’t intended to drop and is not used for anything.
- Halved the distances, spawn trigger radii, aura ranges, and visual effect sizes of most things inside of the Serengeti’s miniboss rooms.
- The Great Rift star in Great Rift Valley before the Lion boss room will no longer inflict -10%/-25%/-50% speed to all nearby ships. This also means the Lions will no longer be slowed by it either.
- Reduced Micron race count to train Engines to 20 from five races to one. A new repeatable practice race has been added for the ability to improve one’s best time at Micron.
- Micron no longer requires a key to access the blue race track.
- Standardized Serengeti Giant Space Alien ambush spawners throughout the rifts for a respawn time of 60 seconds and updating a few of the rooms to move away from the old-style ‘one per direction’ ambush spawners and instead a single omni-directional ambush spawner.
- Removed unpolished dust cloud visual effect from middle of Zebra boss Prince Ar’hath Rhak’kai’s arena when on Very High graphics settings.
- Doubled the size of the lightning effects in Panther boss Princess Takhagha Rhak’kai’s arena.
- Fixed broken name on one of the Active Volcano AI in Corrupted Guardian’s arena Crater Highland.
- Made the debuff auras in Rhino boss High Vizir Rakhnis Grahad’rhi’s arena visible as purple nebulae. Increased their Shield Recharge and Energy Recharge debuffs from -50 to -500 to make them more impactful with modern player stats and decreased the range of all but the central nebula slightly so their ranges can be consistent with one another for their visual size.
- Asteroid drops throughout the Serengeti have been removed save for anything specially designed for fights.
- Zebra Prince boss arena asteroids with the tweak drop now have a yellow tone and emit particles to mark them out as special.
- Asteroids in the Panther miniboss room have been centered from their north-west spawning area.
[Perilous Space]
- Unstable Hephaestus Drones have been standardized from 2 minutes to 3 minutes for lifespan.
[Kalthi Depths]
- Fixed all wild Kalthi not spawned by Kalthi (Armored/Wrathful) Commanders not giving experience when killed.
- Asteroid drops throughout the Twisted zone have been removed save for anything specially designed for fights.
- Optimized Twisted asteroids to have 1/8th as many particles as they previously had, which will also prevent them from occasionally ‘running out’ of particle budget and losing their trails intermittently.
- Twisted Nikola drones have been standardized from 30 minutes to 3 minutes for lifespan.
- Twisted Nikola now has a new set of four “Scavenged” drones that can be obtained instead of his drones from the arena’s asteroids, being identical to the original Twisted drones but having 1/4th the energy cost and as before being unscoopable and decaying upon jumping out. This change will also allow the drones to better remain in-line over time as the original nikola drones were very different from the player-obtainable versions.
- Twisted Nikola’s new “Scavenged” drones can drop 1-3 per asteroid instead of only 1, and each of the four drone asteroids has 7.5x greater chance to spawn than before.
- Twisted Nikola’s new “Scavenged” drone asteroids have lightning effects around them and a trail of smoke to better help them stand out as something of interest.
- Twisted Nikola drone asteroids now have appropriate sizes for their drone visuals/drops.
[Subspace Dimension]
- The Bila Akara Subspace rift for Engine 22 boss Adhara Akara has had its environmental damage effects restored for the two miniboss rooms. The first wormhole you enter through will now properly give heat resistance as well, protecting you if the rift has been open for more than a few moments and the mobile wormholes inside have already flown off.
- Zarkara Adhara (Equipment 22) will now directly drop the Hantr Psu, Raurava Bhava, and Zarkara Sattva augmenters currently at a 33.3% chance for one augmenter to be picked to drop.
- The minibosses will no longer drop the augmenters. To compensate for the augmenter removal, Hantr and Raurava have been given overall shield and damage buffs to increase their difficulty and better match Zarkara.
- This removes the incentive to use surgical damage or train the piracy skill to increase your odds for these boss drops, which optimally would have been slightly less than the new chances, as well as removing the need to lock players out for killing the minibosses. The Zarkara Sattva augmenter was also broken and not dropping for a long time now, this fixes it as well.
- Removed Radar boss’s missile launchers from dropping from the Equipment boss, replaced with the augmenters.
- The following missions in Subspace have had level or difficulty changes (the missions will be offered at more appropriate levels now, difficulty is the max level you can be before you receive reduced experience rewards):
- Lyceum mission chain had its max level of 9999 removed.
- Report to the Allied Front has had its minimum level boosted from 500 to 1500.
- Equipment 22 for the boss kill was mistakenly set to difficulty 1000 instead of 2000, fixed to give the same amount of experience as the rest.
- Bhinna Avapata mission chain with the UrQa changed from minimum level 1000 and difficulty 1500 to 1500 and 2000 respectively.
- The Allied Offensive changed from minimum level 500 and difficulty 2000 to 1500 and 3000 respectively.
- Pajca Allied Defense Orders changed from minimum level 1000 and difficulty 1500 to 1500 and 2000 respectively.
- Subspace DNA Extraction Beams have been increased from extracting 4 DNA per alien to 5. This brings the required number of AI to extract DNA from to build a fully grown Aveksaka ship from 13 Sahvitra eggs, 7 nascent forms, and 7 adult forms down to 10 Sahvitra eggs, 5 nascent forms, and 5 adult forms.
- Subspace DNA Extraction Beams no longer automatically shut off until all five DNA has been extracted from a valid target, at which point it will immediately deactivate and inform the user that the target has had all DNA successfully extracted.
- Subspace DNA Extraction Beams will now immediately deactivate and warn the user if any validity checks fail, and in a specific order to be more helpful:
- If the target is valid for tractoring but is not a ship: “DNA extraction beams can only be used on alien ships.”
- If the target is a valid alien ship but is player-owned: “You can only use this DNA extraction beam on non-player-owned ships.”
- If the target is otherwise an invalid ship: “Invalid hull type for DNA extraction, valid aliens can be found in the Pajca and Sas regions of the Subspace Dimension.”
- If the target has no DNA remaining: “This alien has already had its DNA extracted.”
- If the user has no free hull space: “Insufficient hull space to extract DNA from this alien.”
- Janayitriadhara (Tractoring 22) will now despawn all bombs when vulnerable at the end of the fight, and cannot be killed until they’ve been despawned. This should prevent any remaining cases of bombs killing the boss and denying players the kill credit (meaning no loot dropped).
- Fixed Janayitriadhara’s (Tractoring 22) damage and rate of fire being low, increased the shields on the Paxian Bombs to compensate.
- Reduced Janayitriadhara’s (Tractoring 22) shielding by 2/3rds, making the fight significantly faster.
- Removed startup from the music in Janayitriadhara (Tractoring 22) arena, as there’s no miniboss rooms to go through prior.
- Halaraksa Chid Adiz Mardana Var drones from DD22 Subspace boss have been standardized from 25 minutes to 3 minutes for lifespan.
[Red Outpost]
- Sterwyn Aervin’s Legendary item drops now have individual chances to drop, meaning it is possible for more than one to drop and players have more chances to obtain an item.
- Red Rogue Reavers and Carmine have had a visual added to their barrage attack to help players better see the incoming attack under chaotic conditions.
[Misc. Content Changes]
- Neurobound Exotic Celestial Gear no longer requires modules.
- The following AI-only debuff effects have been converted from negative Shield Bank to positive Vulnerability to All:
- -10% Shield Bank to +10% Vulnerability to All for roaming Pax Astronomica AI, Barbe Noire, Captain Albatross, Captain Bartholomew Roberts, Dark Curse, Nathaniel Courthope, Sputty Nutty, and Vigilante.
- -20% to -60% Shield Bank to +20% to +60% Vulnerability to All for the six roaming Earthforce capital ship AI from Frigate to Dreadnought.
- -20%/-70% Shield Bank to +20%/+70% Vulnerability to All for Brute Force depending on distance.
- -25% Shield Bank to +25% Vulnerability to All for Doom Guard.
- -25%/-40% Shield Bank to +25%/+40% Vulnerability to All for Dark Doom Guard depending on distance.
- -50% Shield Bank to +50% Vulnerability to All for Guardian of the Lyceum, Corrupted Guardian, and High Vizir Rakhnis Grahad’rhi (Rhino boss).
- -75% Shield Bank to +75% Vulnerability to All for Astro-Grinch.
- The following AI-only debuff effects have been converted from negative Energy Bank to positive Electric Tempering (with magnitude multiplied by four):
- -50% Energy Bank to +125% Electric Tempering for Doktor Kobaldstein and Dark Kobaldstein.
- -75% Energy Bank to +187.5% Electric Tempering for Astro-Grinch.
- -90% Energy Bank to +225% Electric Tempering for Copper Blob and Zeus’ final phase warhead effect.
- Mad Expander Blueprint is now tech 18 to match its product.
- The DogeAge ship has a new shiba-themed effect to replace its old electrified center effect carried over from the Ampage and Voltage ships its visual is based on. The original doge photo is unavailable for use due to copyright, so a new CC0 1.0 licensed Shiba Inu’s face is being used sourced from https://pixabay.com/photos/shiba-meadow-serious-sad-garden-2937639/
- Added a new DogeAge Meme Drive engine to the DogeAge ship, complete with new particles and in-flight meme text straight from the good old days. Stats are based on the Nyan Power engine from the Nyan’s Reaver.
- Many holoprojectors have been updated to be exotic or higher quality if permanent.
- Added three new holoprojectors, recolored from Anniversary Server reward versions:
- Aurora Hacker Holoprojector, from Matriarch Aurora
- Empyreal Pillar Holoprojector, from Grand Empyreal Eclipse
- UrQa Flurry Holoprojector, from UrQa’qa Vazuk Vo’kii (Bana King)
- The following bosses had a fix recently applied to prevent them from spamming their initial and reset shouts repeatedly, which consequently broke their ability to reset. This fixes that, as well as applies the original fix properly:
- Ancalagon the Black
- Fallen Haraka
- Fallen Kuhani
- Haraka Station
- Matriarch Aurora
- UrQa’qa Vazuk Vo’kii
- The following bosses will now clear parasites from their hull upon resetting their fight:
- Fallen Haraka
- Fallen Kuhani
- Haraka Station
- Callisto and Ganymede in Olympus are now the only required targets to kill to pass through Near Jupiter Orbit, the Zeus Henchmen no longer count towards blocking the wormhole forward.
- Pan-Universal Neural Plasticizer spawners (Global Exp Boosts found floating in space) will now properly randomize their spawn location after being scooped instead of spawning in the same gal every single time.
- Brute Force is once more impossible to survive a hit from. A single impact will always kill you, consider yourself warned. Seriously.
[Drone / Engineer Changes]
- Repair Rejigger Drone Devices now apply an Advanced Blockade-like auratweak to the personal user’s drones within 1,000 range.
- Heavy Repair Rejigger Drone Device charge time reduced from 120s to 60s to match the lower tech Repair Rejigger Drone Device.
- Field Hospital and Repair Rejigger Drone Device superitems now have effect descriptions detailing how they work and feature a new visual effect for their auratweaks.
- Temp drones will now keep firing even when an envelopment is in the way.
[Item Changes]
- All Hands on Deck, the Pax Scutum super item, now applies +100% Transference Power to the player once again. In addition, it injects a nanite that reduces all other damage types to 0.
- Added new Peacekeeper’s versions of the Empyreal Module blueprints, complete with separate tracker-sourced costs. These blueprints will be purchasable in Paxian Foothold.
- collision hits are now considered “indirect damage”
- Fixed the AeonLabs Station Industry Booster Blueprint only giving 1 worker, it now gives 299.
- Updated Mini Madness effect info to state it also increases the user’s visibility by 300 for 2 seconds.
- Fixed AeonLabs Building Academy Augmenter blueprints having 42,000 manhours instead of 1, these were the Resilience, Fortress, Cordon, and Guardian Z Augmenters.
- removed the level requirement on the account for “Core Skills Neural Boost”
- also removed it from “Master Neural Boost” and fixed both descriptions.
- Updated the description of Celestial Reaching Empowerment Platform to correctly state that it reduces Damage for increased Range.
- AeonLabs blueprints have had their dilution costs set to no longer provide discounts for mass building.
- fix for an issue with stacked radioactive mod adding over 100% per stack.
- made it so stacked items applying AugStats now apply in the same way as different stacks with the same AugStats.
- Prismatic Conv Blueprint has been reduced from 40 size to 10.
- Reduced Space Blue Alpha Blueprint cost for Blue Aether from 5 periodic to 3. Reduced Space Blue Alpha Advanced x1 Blueprint cost for Blue Aether from 10 periodic to 5. This smooths out the cost increases for the Space Blue ships, especially the Advanced x1 which requires an Interceptor to build.
- Updated Dark Maelstrom’s Rocket(DMR) and Stygian Fist particles to be a lot brighter. DMR is now blue to match a lot of Infernal Darkness assets.
[Server / Systems Changes]
- Blueprints with only 1 manhour now complete instantly, most notably the majority of AeonLabs blueprints will be affected by this.
- Trade bot orders now include all items from tradebay you have access to in the current galaxy, instead of being limited only to commodities.
- Players can now move up to 200 speed difference from solarbodies when placing stations from the original 100 speed difference.
- All rifts are automatically set to open PvP now, allowing allied debuffs to work within them.
- When a player dies without an escape pod, their spirit will now start at 0 speed matching escape pod behavior to prevent drifting out without noticing.
- When an Epiphany is used over its maximum level limit, it will now state its maximum level in event chat instead of the level title belonging to that level. For example, it will now specify level 1,500 instead of level Meijin.
- Fixed being unable to equip itemcookbook factories (currently only the Subspace Mining Compressor is applicable) when your ship has temporary drones equipped.
- Added some small improvements to towing messages in event chat, including listing the remaining time when attempting to tow for a second time within 30 seconds and being on tow cooldown for up to 30 seconds remaining.
- Stations that are both destroyed and starving will no longer repeatedly notify of starvation in the station logs. This will allow the logs to remain a lot less cluttered with what’s effectively useless information if the station was destroyed already.
- Fixed the code behind spawn and despawn effects, previously only certain spawners had the effects functional. A lot of spawners throughout the early to midgame have been given spawn and despawn effects over the past year, this will allow them all to properly work.
- Added AP links and fixed some incorrect terminology in the warnings for stations and permanent drones being too far from solarbodies.
- Removed extra line break from Bindomite tooltip.
- Energy boost items, currently the Lucius items from The Colosseum, will no longer display massive energy vulnerabilities in their tooltips.
- Target Tracker directions will now have the first letter of each direction capitalized, with a hyphen between the two words if it’s an intercardinal direction. This should make it easier to identify at a glance.
- Correctly fixed tractor beams deactivated by the target jumping to another gal causing the energy drain removal to be done on them instead of the source of the tractor.
- Lifespan-limited trackers (currently the trackers for Angre and Gonzales dropped by them when they escape) will now correctly state their signal strength as time goes on. This begins with strong, then stable, moderate, weakening, flickering, and finally with less than 60 seconds remaining it will now say critical and inform the user they have less than a minute left to find the target.
- Lifespan-limited trackers will no longer occasionally recalibrate with ~60 seconds remaining on their lifespan.
- Added support for partial construction progress when the full workforce available may be too much for the limited periodic materials available and consequently halt construction. Full credit cost must still be present for partial construction to occur. This will notably impact blueprints with large amounts of periodic Promethium and Enriched Nuclear Material requirements.
- moderator ui now shows players logged in the past 2 hours instead of currently online. So that player can’t log off to make it more annoying to mute them
[UI / Client Changes]
- added Auto UI scale, this give 1x on 1080p, and a close relative scale equivalent for higher resolution
- added shader based scaling for proper scaling at fractional value. and added 25% intervals to the options
- Fixed the DogeAge engine mount being off.
- make squad scoop chat use exalted pink
- fix for a client crash when item tooltip link-color callbacks return after the tooltip is gone
- Fixed the size of the corona6.jpg texture on certain stars being too small for the star’s size, rendering the corona within its edge.
