So it's now impossible for a defending team to forfeit bases during BvB. The only surviving aspect of the mechanic seems to be that if the attackers lose their ownership connection to the galaxy they are assaulting, their assault kits become abandoned.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

except if their kit dies? its not that clear.

if they assault and their kit dies its not abandoned?

if they assault and the gals they have come from become unowned then the base goes abandoned?

if they assault and the gals they have come from become unowned then the base dies it doesnt go abandoned?

Post Re: Discussion of Feb 28th Patch
*** At 12:00 GMT my client patched again, and this bug is not occurring.

Good job devs, I'm digging the new patch, and the game in general.

I'm experiencing a small bug post-patch that hasn't been fixed by restarting the client or changing settings.

When I open the "Trade" stations or the inventory menu in ships docked at a station ("Ships" > "Open Inventory"), all of the items in the menu appear highlighted in orange, as if I had selected all of them. When items in the "Inventory" menu first appear selected I cannot access the right-click menu. The selection disappears if I click on one item in the menu, and I can scroll through the list without the highlighting reappearing.

However, if I change tabs in the "Trade" screen, or change the inventory view in the ship (i.e. Switching from "Equipped" to "All"), or search for an item in the ship inventory, the highlighting reappears. My uneducated guess is that the highlighting appears whenever the menus are refreshed.

This isn't a game breaking bug, but it does make it harder to manage all of the loot I've collected and tossed into a gelato. Thanks.

Aye, Jey pushed out a client only patch shortly afterwards to fix a few things like that trade bay one.

Quite mad that the ruin outpost gear was put in with those stats in the first place. I personally spent quite a bit acquiring a fair amount of it only to see it nerfed to about 50% effectiveness.

Would be nice to have items gone over in the future before having them implemented so that you don't inadvertently screw folks ^^

A Few bugs that came with this patch:

Neural Keys aren't blue anymore, PWI fails 100% of the time if you are on auto pilot, so does sing break (Which they did not used to). That's all I have atm XD

That's the funny thing, they were gone over, by at least 2 others. I'm not even sure how I didn't notice the absurd stats on the pulse guns though, I spent ages fiddling with the sheets to get the sizes at the size I wanted for the power I wanted. >.<

The pulse was not that bad but you could tell the trans and Station Defense were 100% borked ^^

Issue with it is that though I knew they would LIKELY be nerfed I could not be sure, and since they are a limited item I had to error on the safe side and buy them rather then risk the stats stay as they were and not having them.

Oh well, just would be cool to get a specific heads up next time like "Hey, big mistake, these are being nerfed hard so don't get screwed on purchasing!"

Yes TB, if you do the first ones and can't find Hermes or don't want to kill a hive or something like that in 1 day they reset and you can do the easy ones again.

Is there anything been added in the way of graphical display of colonies? I'd like to see which planets of mine have them, without having to dock. Also cause it looks cool.

There are very small white dots on the planet where there is a colony. Lots of great fixes here looks awesome! A in-depth explanation of the new base mechanic is needed, but i'm glad the outpost thing was removed and you now have to kill all connecting galaxies first
