well its not abotu cutting supply its about increasing outflow, besides the new OL system makes some people at least use them, just pimp the freacking abse OL, they barely better then the stable ones. make titan go again +100% dmg and people would start consider using 9mil to buy them.

I don't like the idea of a level cap, because this would help newbie engineers who are going in the level 100-400 range. They could use Aptitudes until and switch to Prowess 1 by 1 as they get enough money/resources to do so.

In the current economy only things that are not readily available have any value at all... and those things have insanely inflated values because..... WE ALL HAVE MONEY.
The cost of replacing a combined aspect aug is around 5B, an art of aug 10-40B, Emp aug 100B, wattage aug 50-80B, and there are many more with similar prices.. so it seems reasonable to not want to just blow those augs... however, with 3 125% colos you can make 100B in a uni EASY... you could do that in a back corner gal in w1 as a lvl 500 if you were smart... and when you have a fleet of 1K+ alts you suddenly have 12, 20, 36, and even 100 colos... do the math people...
It used to take years to hit endgame... it now takes weeks, I see how that improves playability to new players... but you should never treat your new friends better than your old ones because honestly.. who does more for you.
In synopsis... QQ, spend money if you have it, learn to make it if you don't, and forget this broken system.
PS: Props to Simon for pointing out the word "permanent" that every aug has... what ever happened to that?

Honestly, this is absolutely necessary. Especially at low levels, where its hard enough finding one part of your setup, let alone all of it, while still working on a limited budget.
The lack of money at low levels is honestly more the problem. If you balanced the economy, then this really wouldn't be an issue.
There should be missions teaching low levels how to cap AI for fun and profit, as well as different ways than just capping to make money. Mining, perhaps...mining is extremely useless for most types of money making.

Lol, I mined a bil in kendalite once. It took me like 36 hours. I felt so epic about that. I did it at like level 90 or so.

So.... I think most people say yes, with out a level restriction.
Add this now, I can make my SD better tomorrow instead of in 4 weeks. Which means aug sales go up alot quicker.

More people should use Platform Augmentation Alphas!
Then you get a really good upgrade that you can unequip any time you want to.
1 speed, 1 hull space, more range, hell yeah!
