prop 2 with some layer dependency in it. Though 1 way war if it opens up pvp should have aggro bases.

That does not address bases in w2, 1, 0 or players. Yes, the difference is minor but it still opens chances for blocking kits and lvl 10 towers which are really annoying.

Correct me if im wrong but does this make it easier for low lvl ShM to heal pirates while they kill ppl ? We should have special rules for ShMs !

Don't understand why people think it has to be shms who do the healing.
High level anything can use a transference weapon to fix up noobs in fights. Or just lay acmes and leave, drop a perma drone and leave. Healing needs to just be looked at in general. _________________ Lemon/Meo |

When FD had the Lajeah account, he used it to heal Danger's Lion. Was so pissed off that I couldn't hit FD.

You should revamp the whole pvp system with the new t21 gear out and being so powerfull.Lvele should have nothing to do with pvp range since level means jack shit in the end the deciding factor is the gear being used.example of new system could be the total tech of all gear on your ship combined including ship tech so if say joe blow is runing around in a rosie with no gear at all on he/she has a tech level of 20 and could only attack a player within a certain % of his/her tech level.This would keep people with t21 stuff and people who use even just t20 stuff from face raping level 700's and under

That is not that way to go at all SinsOfOurFathers. Ranges is decided upon your level, and it is fine that way. Also, people change gear. Not being able to attack someone, because they put on lower tech gear for DGing is just one thing that will ruin the entire idea of yours.
It stays with levels, for now, and it should one day be determined by glory, since glory is something you get when you level, but also when you go around and kill people. |

If a level 700 person flies into high enough danger factor, then he or she should know what the dangers are, it should not be decided by the gear he or she is carrying. I realize this is also another whole can of worms, but I really don't like pvp limits at all, other than maybe special protection until level 100 or something. Just make really bad things involving the cops happen to people who initiate combat against someone significantly lower than them outside of war. Having the game program tell you that you simply can't play the game that way just destroys the immersiveness of the game.
Open it up to NO limits outside of war PLEASE, Jeff. We've been begging for this for ages, and it's guarunteed to bump your approval rating at least 9000% among key demographics. I think level 2500 is way too high for the max pvp cap. By the time a player gets to level 1800 or 2k or so, they are sufficiently "endgame." Even if they don't have the best gear, they have certainly been around long enough to take a beating from a superior player without whining too much. Even if they do whine, it's not like they're going to quit over it if they've been around that long. I think with new layer-based rules on PvP (no PvP in EF layer etc) the PvP-ranges could actually be broadened significantly. As was already discussed, the main reason why people get mad when they are PvPed is that it wastes their time.
