Ok, substitute Zebucart for Prince or Cess, and you get the same issue. ALL members get the same xp as if only one killed the AI, if all who shoot do sufficient DPS.

IDIOT.
WE ARE NOT ARGUING OVER SHARED EXP. We were discussing would LvL 2600 AI that are thought like Lion Clones, would the Exp be broken leveling? My answer: No, due to difficulty, large Squads needed, the Exp will be distributed to a level where its just normal, not broken, not a waste of time. |

Sorry to spoil the fight, but those are mini-bosses. We can now script multiple bosses all in one system, all with different behaviours.
So, er... no. You won't be farming these guys for XP, nor will you be MCing them solo style. [Edit: pretty sure that level is just created dependent on their equipment - it'll probably get boosted by about 1k before it goes live, they really aren't that easy] |

I'd strongly suggest hanging around test to see stuff happening.
Bugs are still being ironed out of the instancing code, however, this is fast paced stuff - given that Olympus doubled in size in the last 2 weeks, things are going well. (And yes, we're aware that previous deadlines weren't met - however, instancing & Jeff's determination to make it a great update meant a lot of new stuff had to go in ) |

I warped in and it took my 200K sheild bank to 60K bank. It'll defanitly be hard. I never got past the first level but loved the PvP outside and i would love to see a area dedicated to that like Colo but with the use of bases, drones, and on a more ordered scale.

Things to note: Tonight, we tested Hephaestus & Poseidon bosses. I threw in some minor AI bosses in the start gal (non-T21 related, for all the peeps not endgame) and found a couple of things to fix on those (no.. you won't be getting them dropping 2.5bil creds a time, or demented sardine augs on live )
1) Major fatal error with instancing was identified, and Jeff / Jey locked it down - to do with missions exploring instances. So... theoretically, test won't be crashing x1000 times from now on. Pretty sure we'll break more stuff for them tomorrow night. 2) Crash loop on Boss scripting identified - working on fix atm, but also general balancing and scripting of bosses. HAL has produced timed spawner functionality and two new boss script tags in the last week, which allows a lot of new exciting stuff (not to mention allows SM21 gal plans to proceed!) 3) DPS of end bosses will go up in certain areas, and be more varied to prevent shm + zerker ZZZzzz fest 4) Poseidon boss is getting a few changes to script to make the fight more interesting. Getting stuff done, cooking on gas! [5 hrs of testing btw ] |
