That's a valid point; they won't even need to use NB weapons anymore. Furthermore, they will be able to scoop their own debris in most cases since it will all still be floating 20 seconds later. That will further prolong their misdeeds. I don't see a clear way to address this.

Your observation scratches the surface of the vast new meta-game of minimizing /shipvalue while achieving certain performance goals. I have a few setups in mind already for this purpose...

enk, Jey said the plan is for parts/scraps to be added to AI bases to buy/sell in the near future. Whether it will be user-stocked commodity like prom or if the base generates a default supply like an item, I am unsure.

And isn't killing trade slaves part of the game? I can't think of a way to restrict this without seeming silly.

the rich player can use *overclocked phantom stream on everything and be back in battle instantly :P (great for solo ubers or dging) and if u lose parts u just rescoop them hehe

You quit the game, your opinion is invalid. The new system is far superior to the old gear glue system, if you read about it for more that 5 minutes you'll clearly see the benefit.

And buzz, I think you'll find the system will be balanced to not work like that -_-

you can only sell GG next uni from then on AI bases dont have GG
something havent been thinking about or is it just me?
and the only GG that is used in the glue guns are 16-20 what about 2-14 and 21?
btw is the windows/ati bug solved?
