im not sure if this has been suggested before and i haven't decided on calling it accurate or lethal but i was think of a mod that could go on weps that increases critical hit chance. this isnt targetted towards seers but rather other classes who rarely see crit hits

+1% crit chance would be great as one of the little mods I suggested. I don't think I would be in favor of adding more random mods to the drop tables though. _________________ Hi, I'm Anil, a long-time player turned developer. Classes that usually nowadays have a decent critical hit chance in their combat setup - be it from skills, augs, ship or gear:
- Seer (yay!) - Sniper (sure) - SD (right, forget about that often) - Berserker (funny ain't it?) - Shield Monkey (unexpected) A lot of people using Selen, Scrupling or BST slaves have also some crit. hit chance on their slaves, so I'll add - FC All those above are from T20 (and T21) end game setups and are at least in the range of 10% or more. The only class that I'm not aware of a lot of crit hits is Engineer. |

If the engineer heals, it can benefit with crit chance just like shield monkey. And if it doesn't heal, it's normally some sort of dread or really wasting his stat bonuses with something stupid like Off/Off/Gen.

There are other augmenters for other classes. Be cool but, eh, it'd be better to have other mods on your items in most cases. _________________ http://forum.starsonata.com/download/file.php?id=8119 SunDog60 wrote: targeting my OWN slave because... reasons, and then MIRVing it. |

Actually, the more crit percentage bonus you have already, the less benefit a mod like this will give you.

The whole point of this suggestion was to have ppl using it go "oh cool a critical hit" every now and then, not going "wtf are those floaty symbols around my enemy?" once every 3 months _________________ kanescreed wrote: Fires make it go ka-booooush instead of sawooush VaporiZe! |

Is something up with the crit formula right now? I seriously spent like 30 minutes shooting at things in Lady Kelvin.(we all know why) Anyways, my ethereal laser only crited like 3 times in the whole half hour. I was there about an hour, but the whole running ai glitch(they just loose sight and reset their ai) and spawn rate. _________________ http://forum.starsonata.com/download/file.php?id=8119 SunDog60 wrote: targeting my OWN slave because... reasons, and then MIRVing it. |

Sorry, but I don't think I've ever critted on one... and I've spent longer shooting them. _________________ http://forum.starsonata.com/download/file.php?id=8119 SunDog60 wrote: targeting my OWN slave because... reasons, and then MIRVing it. |
