I was just looking through wiki and I felt that gunner seems to be the most neglected class, it has very little "gunner only" items around. Then when I was looking through aura's I noticed that SD didn't have aura specific to it's class either. So I thought why not make a gunner and SD aura so that every class has at least one class specific aura. I was thinking that gunner could be either a damage aura or something to boost missiles somehow. And for the SD either go for the obvious: A speed boost aura, or maybe something more suttle like better thrust and turning or faster RoF. Thoughts?

Also, Gunner is the only class without a class-locked aura generator. Speed Demon has one.

Yeah, Gunner is apparently despised by the dev team. We had one dev who seemed all fired up about new content for gunner, but she A: got too fired up and wanted to do a huge change and rebalance with a whole new focus on debuff missiles, rather than just adding the few new pieces of gear and tweaks to skills that the class really needs AND B: left SS before finishing any of that complicated crap she was so excited about.

All they have to do is increase the destruction skill and decrease the big guns skill to compensate, give us some decent aura gens, and add missiles for every damage type. They don't even need any big content. The missile factory BPs could simply be added to Hyperion with the AP and Kinetic missile factory BPs, and the aura gens could be sold at the gunner station in Lyceum.

For some reason they think that something as simple as adding heat damage missiles should include a whole new uber area and factories that are a rare drop.

I think they should drop from Hyper!
