I start SS and everything seems normal when I login but as a soon as I click "Use character" It freezes and my CPU jumps to 50%~ didn't find a post for this yet but I someone can help me with this
And I did try using other characters the result was still the same.

this happened at first as a HQ bug but now I'm having to re-install SS 4-9 times a day even changing alts freezes SS as soon as i select a character it's getting to a point that i cant be arsed to play much....

this should be fixed if you got to program files, starsonata, maps, then cache. Erase all cached maps - these aren't removed/erased when you reinstall the game, so it won't fix the problem. I had the same problem, and this fixed it. Or you might have a different problem.
