 How many hotkeys do you use?^

Re: How many hotkeys do you use? 13 on my monk, 20 on my DM since that's all I get (would use more otherwise)... and about 8 on my Speed Demon. Not sure which box that puts me in.

Re: How many hotkeys do you use? I use 6 on my SD, and everything that I get on my engi. (which isn't much considering my non-widescreen monitor)

3 on my FC 8 to 16 on my Engineer 3 on both of my snipers 12 on Maga's FC 6 on Maga's Engineer 3 on Maga's other FC Edit: Started to use 10 or 11 different fighters on his Assault Behemoth. Last edited by Max235 on Fri Apr 06, 2012 2:09 am, edited 2 times in total. |

Re: How many hotkeys do you use? Ok just thinking out loud for the people who have more than 20 hot keys. It gets kinda ridiculous at that point to make 40+ action buttons on screen all the time for everyone (people like me use 3-4). Something that may work instead is an inventory type dialoge that is really a list of action buttons. More compact and such, usable for drones, missiles and fighters where you just have tons of em. Ill do a mock up and post here, just give me a bit. That would require coding so less likely to happen any time soon.
Or alternatively would people be OK with smaller HKs that have smaller icons, but same size text and charging bars. Hmm actually that doesn't look quite right. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4966230/FAL_Mod_0_5.png Multiple rows of hotkeys (40 here) are just kinda ew on the screen. Re: How many hotkeys do you use? How about we get a key that lets us toggle between hotkey bars? Then we could actually have 100 hotkeys that are all accessible with a maximum of two keystrokes.
