it freezes for me all the time when im MCing.
also just found out that FF also makes it freeze
i think the cause is that if you change window the client freeze and shows you the last picture what it had when you alt + tab, but when you try to get back to the client it sometimes keep that picture.

I'm having the same issue multi clienting. I freeze a lot randomly flying around. I also can't minimize and maximize again, the screen comes back completely white.

alright, ill see if i can reproduce it. If you could try to eliminate the variables and find some ways to always reproduce the error, it would be apreciated ( i tried minimizing/resizing and it work perfectly for me),

what settings are you using.

if you have background rendering unticked. its totally normal for it to "freeze" when the window isnt active (if your in FF for isntance), but it should unfreeze as soon as you click in it

settings of C2 test
pixel depth 32
resolution: custom (1913x1013)
graphic: low and medium
full screen: off
use hardware cursor: on
vertical sync: off
preload: on
high quality textures: on

Just ran V2. Game freezes when trying to go thru the 5th or 6th WH. (More testing and it totally random... may be a memory leak.)

I moved the 2 XML files from zip folder to the correct location in the SS data files. (No inventory if you don't)

Using V2 of the client and the bases rotate under the planets so you can not dock to them very strange

GeForce 7150M / nForce 630M/PCI/SSE2
Debian Linux, using Latest Wine, emulated as Windows 7

Could not load this client at all. All the graphics settings are minimal (i need to get a real game system running) and I never got a load screen, just flashing parts of the UI and the game froze. Tried a few times, went back to regular client.

Why does the patch bot keep running when I start v2 of the test client?

I know Jey is not putting updates on it every time I load the game..

because its currently outdated. since its not the same filename, its not being replaced with the updated version from the server. but this client was only valid up to the patch a few weeks ago (sorry i havent done much, but its the holidays for me as well).

Currently. the live client contain all the optimisations that client offer and then some (including some rendering bug from what i hear T_T)
