Warp Navigation is a skill that allows one to traverse deeper into the universe via more complex and dangerous wormholes. There are currently 4 levels of this skill, and 5 different 'warp levels' in the universe, starting with Warp Level 0, with relatively safe areas such as Sol or Free Market, up to Warp Level 4 with Juxtaposition and Concourse shortcuts, and the perils of the Kalthi Depths. This skill costs 10 skill points per level.

The Warp Level for a system or level of Warp Navigation is usually described as W(N), ranging from W0 to W4. Copper, for example, is a W1 system.
