Shield Monkeys are the Masters of Manipulating Shields. Shield Monkey's are the medic class of Star Sonata and play an important role of keeping the squad alive in addition to providing passive bonuses to the shields of squadmate's. They are one of the necessary classes for squad based content and are highly valuable in supporting a squad during PVP as well.
This class can use transference weapons offensively to steal shields from their enemies, provided the shield monkey is missing shields. This deals 2/3 of the weapon damage, costs 4.5x the weapon electricity cost, and heals the shield monkey for 3x the damage dealt up to their maximum shields.
Shield monkeys can also use special envelope overloaders succh as Shield Monkey Enveloper and Advanced Shield Monkey Enveloper purchased from Lyceum which enable bonus damage at the cost of additional shield consumption when using transference beams.
