Mechanics

(WIP)

  • Randomly spawns in KD, announcing presence in All Chat
  • Designed for a squad of endgame Tech 23 players
  • Spawns waves of Spice Pirate adds, adds must be killed before Angre becomes vulnerable and can be killed
  • Announces location on death, inviting others to fight for loot
  • Respawn time has a variable timeframe
  • If not killed after a period of time, drops a Tracker with a 15 minute half-life -- this tracker can be used to restart the fight

Loot

Exalted quality loot is contained in an Angre's Treasure Vault, which must be opened by a Quantumly Attuned Keycard rewarded from Paxian Foothold missions.

The vault drops on death, drops upon leaving the layer (KD), prevents transwarps, and prevents item teleportation. The keycard drops on death, prevents transwarps, and prevents item teleportation.

Thus, players must escort the vault to a secure location, or prepare a keycard into the fight to unlock the vault as soon as possible. There is a risk (or opportunity) for the vault and keycard to be pilfered by contesting parties, seeking the best of Angre's loot.

When opened, the vault randomly produces one out of a pool of exalted blueprints.
