Death Debt is a penalty incurred when a player either dies without an escape pod or has his/her pod killed. Death Debt is the amount of experience that must be paid off before normal experience may be earned again. Each death causes a debt of 999 to be incurred up to a maximum dependent on your level (between 1999 and 2999).
