Beta Client

The Beta Client is a special client provided with testing/expiremental changes.

How to download/connect

• Non-Steam
  • Download the installer directly https://www.starsonata.com/beta-client-download/
  • You may need to re-run patchbot in the game folder, it will force the freshest beta changes.

• Steam
  • Right click Star Sonata and go into Properties > Game Versions & Beta > beta.
  • Once selected Steam will automatically pull the beta Star Sonata's installation files/client assets.
  • You may need to re-run patchbot in the game folder, it will force the freshest beta changes.

Note

• You can add a "SteamOff.txt" file in the regular non-steam game folder for delinking your regular game client from steam.
  • This is useful for people who rarely use the steam version, and don't want to close Star Sonata accidently when restarting/closing steam.
