Ruins can be found on [[planet]]s when scanned. If a colony exists you will be able to buy special items from a colony built on that [[planet]].

All of the ruins discovered by players belonged once to great empires of the [[Category: Races|Ancient Races]]. Should they have prevailed to the current day, the universe would be a much different place, and the [[Terran]]s may have never lasted long enough to take to the stars. Unfortunately, they were destroyed by an [[UrQa]] invasion fleet shortly after the first [[Paxian]] visit to our universe. This first [[UrQa]] occupation was eventually routed and their fleets destroyed, but it was too late for the [[Mzungu]], [[Bule]], [[Vazaha]] and [[Faranji]]. Much of this lore is revealed within the Enigma and Ancient Ruin mission lines.
