The Poseidon's Crown was one of the competition prizes for the [http://www.starsonata.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=49134 Star Sonata 2 Screenshot Contest]. The prize came in the form of a size 1 item upgrade. The user needs equipment skill equivalent of the ship it applies to. The item can be applied on board a ship to upgrade it instantly. Note this is a cosmetic changing item only and no stats are changed from the original Poseidon Wave. <br>

The prize was won by [[User:PlayerBoy345|PlayerBoy345]] of Strawberry Pancakes and was equipped on his Sniper as of 17/02/2012

After receiving his prize, playerboy complained that the texture wasn't to his liking and he was allowed to replace it with his own texture.
