Neural Keysyncs are special items used to unlock a sealed wormhole, particularly in many [[DG]] galaxies. These 'keys' are usually dropped by the local AI, which are usually hostile. A locked DG gate will require half of the keysyncs dropped by all of the ai to allow access. "Neural Keysyncs" are fragile and can not survive a jump into another galaxy through a wormhole. So, either backing out of a galaxy or advancing throught the locked warp will use the keys and remove them from your inventory.

Keysyncs will usually, if not always, unlock a gate to an even more dangerous galaxy; thus, practice caution before using.

All normal DG galaxies take "Neural Keysyncs", [[Concourse]] requires an "Extraplanar Compound", and others can require other random commodities that pertain to the specific galaxy, such as "Gabriel's Neurolich" for [[Penance]]. Some keysyncs may have half-lives.

Neural keysyncs can also be mined for profit and use in [[Liberty]].
