 '''Lunacy''' is a [[star system]] with one AI controlled star base known as Sonata Asylum. The Asylum in Lunacy houses the dreaded and insane [[Mad Scientist]], so it is never a player-buildable system, the Lunatics would be sane to allow it. The Asylum, traveling on a high speed planet requires superb skill (or crazed lack thereof) to dock at, so it is little wonder that it contains some of the most sought after skills and items in the game. If you're traveling to Lunacy to try your luck admitting yourself, watch out for the tweaks, or you may just end up there for good. Lunacy is also known to drive many mad searching its countless asteroid fields for the addictive and heavy Cloud Mercury.
