'''HQs''' serve as a central point for a team's operations. They are usually surrounded by a massive amount of [[drones]] and other [[Station Kits|station kits]] equipped and fortified with the most powerful of [[Base Gear|base gear]] in-game.

Laying an [[HQ]] in [[Wild Space]] allows you to own galaxies adjacent or connected to the HQ galaxy. As long as a galaxy is owned and linked to your team HQ, they will be considered as a part of your team space, preventing other players from building in them. Enemy teams will also be limited to 5 station kits when attempting a [[BvB]] within your team's galaxy, unless they build a [[Base Amplifier]].

Upon the placement of an HQ, you must wait 10 minutes before you are able to claim ownership of the galaxy.

It is also possible to share [[Galaxy Map|galaxy maps]] between team members by docking at the HQ.
