Dark Maelstrom is a level 5000 uber who resides in the Dark Maelstrom galaxy, off of [[Infernal_Darkness]]. He emits a shield debuff which incurs a -9000 shield regen per second, unless your ship is on the nebula background near the warp. Dark Maelstrom fires dark immolation and laser weapons. He also has a large shield bank, having at least 1 million shields. It is highly recommended to have high level snipers or seers to kill him.
