One of the most recognizable and perhaps the most depressing race in the universe, '''Blue Pirates''', nonetheless remain the biggest threat to the Inner Rim worlds. Despised by merchants, enforcers and even other pirates, the Blue have built their stronghold, [[Blue Outpost]], conveniently close to the wealthiest systems, and do not plan to leave soon. The leader of the bulk of '''Blue Pirates''' is [[Barbe Bleu]], though a great number of blues freelance in the Outer Rim, venturing as far as the edge of populated worlds.

Why are the Blue so successful? Perhaps the answer lies in [[Space_Blue_Family|their ships']] special modifications, or the way they draw power from unfamiliar to [[Earthforce]] energy sources. Perhaps their sudden attacks have left the [[Earthforce]] baffled and unable to respond. Whatever the reason is, the Blue became the strongest of all pirate organizations, and not much can be done to stop them.

 [[Wernher von Bleu]] helped design the Space Blue hulls including the series of Blue fighters. After Barbe Bleu's death he fled [[Blue Research]] to [[Perilous Space]] and ended up in [[The End of the Universe]] where he went in debt and had to begin working at the restaurant located there. With the help of Earthforce he escaped the restaurant and in turn helped design an improved Blue fighter for Earthforce to use. Additionally he informs them of the Blue Baron, who is in charge of the elite fighter squadron called Blue Delta Force.
