 Once you have the boss kill for a given skill and if you don’t win the roll for the skill commod you can complete some missions to get one by yourself! Here’s how:
 Go to the [[Allied Staging Sector]], dock at the Paxian base to get the mission for the commod, which requires Allied Commendations. Go to the EF base, get both missions -- they each give you a random item that unlocks one of several possible missions.

 Commendations are neurobound, but the commods you get with them are not! These have a 5 hour half-life so don't go and get it before you have the mission kill!!

 All missions can be completed with help, but you should be in a squad with the mission bearer as squad lead. Instance spawns will not spawn if squad leader isn’t the one with the mission and kills split outside of squad will often not grant the kill to the mission bearer.
