The missions can be activated by the Nexus Phozon, in (obviously) the [[Nexus]]. The first mission give you a Nexus Fighter Bay and one Nexus Drone Fighter. After completing that, every mission after will simply give you more fighters.<br />

I am also sure that the fighters use ethereal prototypes.<br />

uh I'm pretty sure you have to complete most of the nexus station missions to get it.<br />
