Star Sonata is somewhat unique, in that players can place space stations almost anywhere and fill up the universe with each persons or teams own empire. The economic part of the game is huge.
Do you think you and your team have what it takes to rule the universe and crown yourself Emperor? If your team has one of the top 5 team scores, then you are eligible to defeat the palace in Anatolia and capture it. But beware, if you made your claim to be the emperor, the rest of the players will likely counter-attack. If you can withstand counter-attacks for long enough to construct the special crown ship and then sucessfully fly it to Sol without being killed, then you will become Emperor of Star Sonata for as long as your palace remains undefeated. Ruling the universe is never easy, but the benefits if you can pull it off are substantial.
Being emperor at the end of a universe is considered winning the game, at which point you get to design your own unique item, get a solar system named after you, and go down in history as one of the Star Sonata elite!
