Well... my patchnote monkey is sleeping so i guess im stuck doing it ! :P


This patch should give a huge improvement for the framerate on slow machines, especially at low graphic quality.

This patch also include something stealth user have been nagging me about ever since the new ap. The autopilot should now know how to react with a stealthy build (<100visibility), and try to avoid thrusting for nothing.

I fixed as many of the small bugs as i could,although there are still some left that will most likely wait till tommorow (or maybe late tonight).

Here are some you can fix:

- DG AI seem to struggle with being instantly aggressive. This also happens a lot when I DG in low level DFs, and I jump into the next level, the AI there will normally ignore me.

- If you have drones out, and re-log, then they will not appear in your upper right corner where you can see their shields and energy.

- There is no auto-kick feature after 30 minutes, from the game itself.

- Autopiloting to custom galaxies, like Rocky Horror, Perpetual Motion, The Mausoleum, and so on, is not possible through the /ap command. It will simply say that it is unable to find the galaxy.

- Login screen, account information: When using Tab to jump down to the password section, it will not clear the password once you start typing in a different password, like it did in C1.

How does the AP algorithm work for Panthers that occasionally become very low vis?

We are having issues with the patch. People are crashing out of the game completely when attempting to sell a ship or toss items. I've sent my dumpfile for the sell a ship crash.

The DS+ now has the proper texture (golden spikes with red lines etc), which are awesome... But it still uses the old model.

The DS+ needs the DS 3d model :P Then it's fully fixed.

Second issue. Giving money to YOUR trade slaves pops up two windows, one in the foreground one in the background. Giving money to other peoples trade slaves seems ok. Here is a screenshot.

Another issue, centering the map on your ship button is not working. It's not centering the map.

When you say <100 vis, do you mean without thrusting? because im sure my delqua is almos 10 vis and it still thrust constantly. Maybe because the engine makes it go over 100 vis and the system recognize the ship as over 100 vis?!

Ive got serious issues when Aping....screen do a massive jerky wobble every 5 or so secs and jumps me a good 200 from where i thought i was.
And the map won't center itself. This is on my seer btw since you did something to stealth APing

All this was fine pre-patch
