Are you guys figuring out why SS2 is not compatible with Windows XP? Any ETA on this?

Everybody with XP seems to have major problems... Meaning, we basically can't play.

We are aware of this issue and are working on a fix. Sadly I can not offer you an ETA (in fear that I might be wrong =P)

Not everybody. I powered up a old laptop with XP on it in hopes that I would get the same problems as so many others only to find out that it could run SS perfectly at 35 FPS, on low settings of course but still.

So XP alone is not the problem, it must be in combination with something else.
A lot of people with problems seems to be using ATI Radeon graphic cards.

Is it possible that win 7 doesn't work well either? I can get into the game but can only see the station menus. No ships, planets, etc.

Win 7 x64 bit
2.84ghz core 2 duo
14gbs system ram
4gb gforce 9500 video card

I had that problem initially, but running the game on low fixed that.
I still could not run it on high, however the patch Monday or Sunday fixed it for me.

Try running it on low, and as admin, it might help.

Does the Station Management SP get refunded since it has been reduced?
