I tidied it up a bit, this will take you through the basic steps of becoming a drone master.

Also, another good tip is: Use slaves and weapons too. Slaves DO get a tweaking boost from Engineer, and they're always useful. High bank slaves are nice.

Also, Speed is not important for DM. Agility (without a set of drones deployed) is important. The cheapest way to be a DM is to hide behind your drones. Many drones (Bule Ada Drones ftw) can absorb a lot, so at middle levels, you can use those, and a high regen and resist setup (Serenity ftw), and you can defeat many things in Perilous Space a few BGs at once, or some forgones, or 1 pick. Effectively you can turn a devastating 1000 DPS into about 200 per drone, and Bule Ada Drones have great resists, and will probably survive. You will probably be hit quite a few times, but if done correctly, you can stay out of the line of fire for less than a second. My 4k bank, 500 regen, high resist Bule Ada and Arson drone setup was better than my 60k bank, negligible regen, Lipo drone and Mzungu Mining Defender Drone setup...

Might want to suggest some low-level Freighters, as Support class gives bonuses to them. Constable's Aid (while rare) is pretty good for a mid-tier DM, it's inbuilt Wand could save a drone or two.

Yeah, but as you can see, its really just an intro to the class. it gets you through choosing your skills and what gear and stuff you need, at the basic level, and gives some nice guidelines.

I dont like suggesting specific ships, unless they are the only choice...EX, my alt could have used a pax t12 thingy, but instead i decided to go to the effort of getting an OS rosfire, just because its awesome. :P

Im a major fan of the unconventional. I guess thats why i like my sniper so much :)

But because of that, im not going to make any specific lists, as i dont want people going "Why do i suck! Im doing what the guide said i should do!"
